Maui is often divided into two parts. On one hand you have the beautifully rugged West Maui Mountains, loaded with water falls and greenery everywhere, and then the vastness of Haleakala crater with the lush Hana coastline and cliffs. Most of the helicopter tours will focus on one are or the other. However, with this extended flight of one hour, you will get to enjoy all of the main aspects of the entire island of Maui.

Activity Details

While soaring over the majestic West Maui Mountains, you will get to see rainforest terrain, cascading waterfalls, and razor-edged cliffs all of which make for such a breathtaking experience.

Keep your eyes open for the majestic Humpback whales (in season), while hovering over the Pailolo Channel on your way to Molokai, where you'll see some of Hawaii's tallest waterfalls and the world's tallest sea-cliffs along the North Shore, not to mention the famous Kalaupapa Peninsula, where individuals plagued with leprosy were once sent for isolation in the 1800s, and where Father Damien settled in order to help minister to those affected by the disease.

This extended flight will take you back to the heliport via the opposite sides of both Molokai & West Maui, featuring areas not seen on the 45-minute version.  You'll fly over beautiful sites that include the South Shore of Molokai and West Maui's resort areas as well as historical Lahaina Town*.

Front seat upgrade is available for an additional $50 per seat for a maximum of 2 seats per flight.  To qualify, the combined weight between the two passengers cannot exceed 380 lbs.

*All sites are not guaranteed and subject to change due to weather and other factors.

Additional Information

Meet at Maui's only heliport, in Kahului.  You will be welcomed by a friendly staff and receive personal check-in assistance.  Your flight features Maui's most experienced pilots, with thousands of hours in flight time, and FAA-certified and factory-trained mechanics that inspect all components each day. You will feel safe and secure every step of the way.  Stop by their official retail shop where you can stock up on souvenirs as your flight is being prepared.

For obvious safety reasons it's very important that accurate weights be reported when making your reservations. Due to FAA regulations all passengers must be weighed at check-in. Those passengers weighing over 240 lbs or couples with combined weight over 420 lbs may be required to purchase a comfort seat.  If you have any questions regarding this rule please contact our reservation lines.
Passengers who grossly underestimate their weight may be subject to being bumped off the flight without any compensation or refund.
