When many come to Maui the one thing they want to do is experience is the Road to Hana. Apart from the 617 hairpin turns and 59 single lane bridges, you will see ocean, cliffs, waterfalls, tropical and bamboo forests, and so much more. There are black sand beaches, quaint pools to cool off in. It's borderline other-worldly. Navigate yourself with caution, as it can be dangerous... or choose a guided tour (so you don't miss any of the good spots).
