See the famous, privately owned "Jurassic Park" falls or Manawaiopuna Falls by descending a 400 foot (120 m) cliff. The magnificent Waimea Canyon and Olokele Canyon are often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." This canyon has a special geologic history because it was created by both the cataclysmic collapse of the volcano that created Kauai millions of years ago as well as erosion.

Along the route, discover stunning, deserted beaches and roaring waterfalls in the midst of verdant landscapes. Before rounding the north shore to the renowned Hanalalei, keep an eye out for the pyramid-shaped mountain top, Mount Makana or Bali Hai.
