On our doors off flight, nothing will stand between you and the breathtaking vistas, giving you the best opportunity to appreciate Kauai's natural beauty.

Air Kauai flies the American Eurocopter ASTAR, the best touring helicopter in the world. Every seat is forward-facing, giving passengers 180-degree vistas from each one. Air conditioning, a large cabin, leather seats, and noise-cancelling headphones are all features of airplanes. In addition to providing a smooth and pleasant ride, the helicopter is outfitted with a MultiVision video system that records all the amazing sights you see on your trip in HD together with your pilot's narrations and background music on a USB flash drive. Terms and Conditions for Doors Off  (MUST READ) 

  • ONLY YOUR CELL PHONE IS ALLOWED ON BOARD.  NO OTHER CAMERA DEVICE IS ALLOWED!  Air Maui will provide a lanyard case for passengers cell phone that will be attached to them during flight.
  • Children must be at least 10 years of age.  An adult must accompany anyone 10-18 years old.
  • Guests on the edge seat must be 16 years of age or older.
  • No hats, bags or any loose items allowed.
  • Must wear closed toed shoes.  No flip-flops or sandals.
  • Long hair must be tied up at all times.
  • Air Kauai will provide each passenger a jacket that will be required for all passengers to wear during flight.
  • Cancellation policy:  No refunds or rescheduling within 48hrs of flight time.  For groups 12 or more 7 days notice is required.
  • Flight routes and sights may vary due to weather conditions.
  • 45 minutes prior check-in to all flights is required.
  • Comfort seat charge for passengers weighing 230lbs or more or a combined weight of 400lbs.

Restrictions

A comfort seat fee of one additional seat will be applied to groups of two whose combined weight is 400 pounds or over.
Customers weighing 230 pounds or more must pay the price of an extra seat for a comfort seat.
Youngsters 10 and older are permitted to partake in this activity.
The activity might not take place if there are fewer than 4 participants signed up.
 

Additional information:
The cost does not include gratuities.
Weather conditions may affect flight paths and sightseeing destinations.
Each passenger will receive a jacket, which they must all wear throughout the journey.
