Join us on our whale-watching boat! From the Kailua Pier, your 2.5-hour cruise departs, and you start your whale-watching adventure! As the boat enters the open sea, ask the educated crew about the humpback whales. Keep an eye out for curious sea turtles swimming nearby and friendly dolphins surfing the wake. The beautiful humpback whales will soon be visible. Watch in astonishment as they breach, spout, and wave their flukes. This is a stop along their route as migratory humpback whales. As these magnificent marine creatures travel through the huge Pacific, observe nature at its most beautiful.

Kailua Pier is where tours begin. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase, and snacks and beverages are included in the cost of the trip.

Via our underwater hydrophone, you might even get to hear singing humpback whales! Spinner dolphins, pilot and sperm whales, manta rays, sea turtles, and other marine life can also be seen. Activity Details

On the Big Island, Body Glove is a well-known name for whale viewing excursions. Their 2.5-hour Whale Watching Tour includes an on-board marine life naturalist who can answer all of your questions about the whales and their behavior. Also, the catamaran has underwater hydrophones so you can hear the whales sing. You might also observe dolphins, pilot whales, manta rays, and false killer whales in addition to humpback whales.

There is plenty of on-board shade on this expedition, and there are fantastic photo opportunities. The spread includes snacks, fruit, handmade hummus and pita chips, a pub mix, drinks, and juices. A full service premium bar is available for an extra fee.

  • A full refund is available up to 72-hours prior to your tour starting. After that time, there will be no refunds for no-shows.
  • All routes and timing will be based upon the captain’s discretion. If you do not see whales, you may return for another cruise.
